Performance

The base model Infiniti Q50 features a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger. This engine, which features double overhead cams, four valves per cylinder and continuously variable valve timing for fuel efficiency, puts out 208 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque from 1,500 rpm to 3,500 rpm.

The engine is backed by a rear-wheel drive electronic seven-speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift control and hill start assist. The transmission also features a driver-adaptive learning algorithm that senses what your driving style is and adjusts automatic shifting based on that style. The manual shift mode allows you to select manual gearshifts and provides Downshift Rev Matching.

Safety

Feel safe in the Q50 with all of the safety equipment including Infiniti's advanced air bag system and zone body construction with a reinforced passenger compartment. Airbags include:

• Dual-stage front supplemental airbags.
• An occupant-classification sensor.
