Active Lane Control

Active Lane Control uses a camera based system to enhance lane-keeping capability. The system is included as part of the Lane Departure Prevention system, adjusting for unintended lane drift and making smaller adjustments for minor road surface changes or crosswinds.

Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection

This is a four-corner, virtual 360-degree, bird's-eye view of the vehicle while parking. Enhanced by adding Moving Object Detection, it alerts drivers to moving objects around the parking vehicle.

Around View Monitor with Front and Rear Sonar System includes the advanced Moving Object Detection (MOD) system. Around View Monitor uses four small superwide-angle cameras, mounted on the front, side and rear of the vehicle to provide a virtual 360° view of objects around the vehicle, helping to maneuver into tight spots.

Backup Collision Intervention (BCI)

With the Backup Collision Intervention technology, when the transmission is in reverse, BCI helps the driver detect crossing vehicles and objects from behind and automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a collision.

Blind Spot Intervention (BSI)

BSI alerts the driver of a vehicle in the adjacent lane while changing lanes and can help the driver bring the vehicle back into the lane.

Direct Adaptive Steering

Direct Adaptive Steering allows independent control of the tire angle and steering inputs, transmitting the driver's intentions to the wheels faster than a mechanical system. This increases the direct driving performance feel by quickly and intelligently communicating road surface feedback to the driver.

Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)

The INFINITI Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) system works like a standard cruise control with the added feature of maintaining a selected distance from the vehicle in front of you. Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode maintains a selected distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. The distance to the vehicle ahead will change according to the vehicle speed.

InTouch

InTouch includes the INFINITI Personal Assistant program with 24-hour access to a live team of professional assistants. InTouch has two touch screens with intuitive hand gesture screen operations to easily connect drivers to their lives outside the car.

Content and functions directed to the upper screen includes the most frequently used applications, such as navigation maps. Other content is directed to the lower display screen. A selection of vehicle-centric apps is pre-loaded into the system. Owners can also download, update and synch personal apps through their smartphones and USB drives.

Lane Departure Warning

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) alerts drivers with an audible and visual warning when he or she starts to drift out of a lane at certain speeds. If the driver doesn't heed LDW's warning, Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) provides the next layer of protection helping to ease the vehicle back toward the center of the lane by providing small electronic steering input changes on vehicles equipped with Direct Adaptive Steering.

Predictive Forward Collision Warning

INFINITI's Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) system warns the driver of risks that lie beyond the driver's field of view. It not only senses the relative velocity and distance of a vehicle directly ahead, but also of a vehicle traveling in front of the preceding one.

Wireless Charging

The system uses an integrated charging port, a DC Fast Charge option and an advanced Wireless Charging System. All a driver has to do is park the vehicle over the charging pad with no need to connect cables.

The system's non-contact charging is via inductive energy flow, with a coil safely encased on the garage floor. The primary coil is connected to the energy source, which then creates a magnetic field that excites electric current in a second coil in the LE Concept. The high frequency charging, controlled by the twin display or smartphone, is safe for children and pets and can be installed easily in a home garage.
